Use the Client tab to:
Add New Clients
To invite a client to be monitored, select Add Client from the top of the screen.
You will be prompted to enter your client's details. It is important to do this, as these details may be used to help calculate targets for your client.
Here, you have two choices. You can invite your client to a shared profile, or you can create an internal profile for your client:
Use this option if your client will be logging foods and other data on their own. You can monitor existing Cronometer users or create an account for a new user.
Choose this option to have full control over a client's diary, and you do not want the user to be able to access their diary. If you create an internal profile, you can convert it to a shared profile later.
To change an internal profile to a shared profile click on the internal profile name, then use the settings menu in the top right corner to choose Add an Email.
Your client will receive your request via email. Your client MUST accept this invitation in order for you to monitor their account. The email link will expire after 7 days, so if your client has not followed the link in the allotted time, you should resend the link by selecting the client from the list, then clicking Resend Email in the proceeding page.
Here you can also edit your client's name or remove the client from your pending invitations.
Once your client has accepted your invitation, they will be listed in your clients tab where you can group and organize clients as you wish. Clicking on your client's name will bring you to the client view where you can:
- Edit the client's diary
- Edit settings and profile details
- Share foods
You can organize your clients into multiple groups by using the settings menu in the top right corner of the Clients tab. Choose + Add Client Group, then drag and drop your client's names to organize your list.
Organizing your list into groups can be especially useful for sharing custom foods and recipes to specific client groups, restricting access for clients, or separating internal vs. managed profiles.
You can also sort your client list by using the drop-down menu, and search for a client by name using the text based search.
