The Targets tab allows you to customize your macronutrient targets.

Macronutrient Target Preferences
Your nutritional targets by default are set to a custom ratio based on the Dietary Reference Intakes. Your nutrients targets will be set to the minimum daily amount you need to keep from being malnourished. Ideally, you should strive to achieve at least 100% of all your daily minimum nutrient targets.
There are three different approaches to customizing your macronutrient settings with Cronometer. Choose the one which best suits your needs.
Your macronutrient targets remain the same each day. This setting uses the default values based on the Dietary Reference Intake or you can customize your targets manually to set fixed gram amounts for each target. Choose ‘Fixed Targets’ from the drop-down menu. You will then be able to input your target values directly in the corresponding fields below. These values can also be changed by scrolling down to the Macronutrients section or by editing the targets in the Nutrient Targets Summary section of the Diary tab.
Choose a preset ratio of protein:fat:carbs or set your own custom ratio. This setting will dynamically calculate your macronutrient targets to achieve the ratio of macros based on your calorie budget.
This option is a special case. Instead of targeting specific ratios, we dynamically calculate a maximum target for your carbohydrate and protein targets and set the remainder to fats. Choose one of the preset ketogenic options or set your own.

Choose whether you want to track Total Carbohydrates or Net Carbohydrates. You can also choose to include or exclude sugar alcohols in your carbohydrate count in this section. Learn more about Tracking Carbohydrates if you're unsure which method to use.
Show Weight Goal in Diary
Toggle this to see how many more calories you must consume or burn for they day to meet your weight goal in the Calories Summary.
Weight Goal Timeline
Use this menu to choose a rate of weight loss or gain, or choose to maintain weight. When you choose a rate of weight loss/gain goal, your calorie budget will update to show you how many calories will be subtracted (weight loss) or added (weight gain) to achieve your goal.
This graph will show your predicted weight loss/gain overtime (blue line) based on the chosen Goal Timeline. Your Weight Goal will appear as the green line.
